Academic Scholarships Continuing Students
Scholarship support is awarded to continuing Winthrop students on the basis of their academic achievement at the University and/or participation in extracurricular activities. High-achieving students are invited to submit an application for scholarships to the Office of Financial Aid in March of each year. The Scholarship Committee will review the applications and make awards for the following academic year. For additional information, you may contact the Office of Financial Aid at 803-323-2189.
NOTE: Some students receive scholarships and grants from sources other than Winthrop University. The Office of Financial Aid reserves the right to adjust the amount of Winthrop University scholarships for students whose total aid would exceed the estimated cost of attendance.
