CRITICAL READING, THINKING, AND WRITING 201

Faculty teaching CRTW 201 are strongly encouraged to use http://www.turnitin.com/ to help their students demonstrate the correct use of borrowed information. To set up your account, see the instructions posted by Dacus Library: http://www.winthrop.edu/dacus/About/
facultyTIIinstructions.htm
Once you have set up your course files on turnitin.com and posted your assignments, give the class ID# and password to your students. We recommend that you not post this information on your web pages to prevent misuse of the system.

You can find the guidelines for the course in your grey notebooks as well.

The Rubric for General Education Writing Assignments may be familiar to your students from HMXP102.

We are creating an online archive for assignments, classroom activities, and other resources for CRTW201 using the password-protected WRITINGPROGRAM shared drive. This material is only accessible when you are logged on to the Winthrop system. Instructions for using the shared W: drive can be found in your grey notebooks. If you have questions about adding material to this drive or how to access it, please ask Jo or Kelly.

The training group for CRTW (John, Jack, Evelyne, Litasha, Jo) is available to answer your questions and provide mentoring for all faculty teaching CRTW.
