Alumni Association President Kasey Johnston Walter `69, right, presents longtime university photographer Joel “Nick” Nichols with an honorary membership in the association with the class of 1963, Nichols’ wife Janice’s class. The citation praised his dedicated service for nearly 45 years in chronicling the life and capturing the spirit of Winthrop and its diverse history and community.
Nichols will be retiring later this year.
