My name is Alanna Kialynn Brooks and I am a junior Biology major with a minor in Spanish. I was born on June 3, 1995 in Brooklyn, New York at Long Island College Hospital. I now live in Laurens, South Carolina where I attended and graduated from Laurens District High School. In high school, I played volleyball for my first year, I was a Beta club member, a member of the student council, and a Spanish club member for the last few years of high school. I was also a Presbyterian College- CHAMPS student and took part in a lot of community service projects. I maintained a GPA of 3.75 all throughout high school and received academic letters and pins. I am an active member of the church, where I take part in praise dancing and a member of the choir. I have also interned at local Veterinary hospitals and this helps with my major. As of now, I am the secretary of the Culture club, an ASA member, a ClubMed member, and I am planning on joining the GammaBetaPhi honorary club. After college I plan on attending med school and later receiving my doctorate to become a Veterinarian.
