Locating Information in Dacus Online Catalog :

JSTOR

Scholarly journal archive covering all subject areas, many going back to the 19th century; includes 49 journals in language and literature.

Academic Search Premier

Provides full text for nearly 4,700 publications, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed journals.  Coverage spans virtually every area of academic study and offers information dating as far back as 1975; updated daily.

Academic OneFile

A multi-disciplinary index to nearly 11,000 journals, about half of wich are full-text. Includes both scholarly and popular sournce.

Electronic Indexes (Citations only, with some links to full-text in other databases)

Arts and Humanities Search

Covers over 1,000 journals published from 1975 to the present and provides citation information for articles, essays and reviews, as well as original creative works including poems, fiction, photographs, painting and illustrations.  A large proportion of the articles indexed are available in linked full-text.

MLA International Bibliography

Consists of bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore and includes coverage from 1963 to the present; covers nearly 4,000 journals and series as well as monographs, working papers, proceedings, bibliographies and other formats.
