Locating Information in the Online Catalog

Dacus Library's online catalog (DOC) allows information to be accessed by author, title and subject.  Choose the author or title search mode to quickly locate a specific book.  Choose the subject search mode to find books on a topic.  Books about Shakespeare are found under the general subject heading, "Shakespeare, William, 1564-1616."  This main subject is further divided by subheadings such as "Adaptations," "Bibliography," "Characters," "Criticism and interpretation," "Sources," etc.  To find a book about a specific play by Shakespeare, do a subject search by the title of the play, for example, "All's Well That Ends Well" or "Romeo and Juliet."
