October 2006 Exhibit- Hometown Hitters: Baseball Beginnings in Rock Hill

The exhibit for October 2006 is a tribute to the beginnings of baseball in Rock Hill. From the first team organized by the Rock Hill Buggy Company in the 1890s, to the Mill teams of the 30s and 40s, and to the MLB affiliated Rock Hill Chiefs, Cardinals, and Spinners of the 40s, 50s and 60s, come relive Rock Hill baseball’s historic past and pay a visit to the exhibit at Dacus Library.
