Michelle Soto teaches Graphic Design in Winthrop's Department of Design. She applied her Bachelor’s degree of Graphic Design for seven years in New York City at a commercial real estate firm creating designs for retailers such as Banana Republic, bebe, Bose, CH Carolina Herrera, Carlos Miele, Design Within Reach, FedEx, Kinko’s, Forever 21, Gap, GameWorks, Intemix, IZOD, J.Crew, Lindt, New York & Company, Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Rugby, Solstice Sunglasses, Steve Maden, Swatch, Virgin Megastores and Zales. She has been published in Womens Wear Daily, New York Times and Crains Shopping Center Business. After achieving her Masters degree, teaching in NYC and moving to the Carolinas, she taught digital art for the Applied Technology Center in Rock Hill.
