Schauble is adjunct professor of fine arts and an urban planner/architectural designer.

During the past 34 years, his efforts have been directed toward architectural design and urban planning initiatives commissioned by private and public sector clients. To date, private commissions include subdivision/neighborhood site planning and design, and architectural design for approximately 350 private residences. Public commissions include numerous community studies, greenway planning, neighborhood preservation strategies, community planning and design, and illustrations for city zoning and design guideline technical manuals. Complimenting these initiatives has been an active teaching role in higher education.
