The Major
Students interested in special education start quickly. Within their first two years, they have already taken courses on foundational components of special education as well as taught students with disabilities and at-risk concerns in the local schools. After their successful completion of introductory courses such as these, they apply for the College of Education. Once in the College of Education, they complete more concentrated studies working with students in their specific concentration.
