Dr. Debi Mink is the Director of Student Academic Services. She is also an assistant professor for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the Richard W. Riley College of Education teaching mathematics methods. She oversees all areas in Student Academic Services. She has supervised field experience students and interns, advised early childhood and elementary education majors and taught the Capstone course. She has served as chairperson of the Teacher Education Committee and the Elementary Education Program Committee. She was born and raised in Iowa and Illinois. She came to Winthrop in fall 2006 from the Miami-Dade County, Miami, Florida Public School District where she served as an elementary classroom teacher, Professional Development Specialist, and Director of the Teacher Education Center.
