Dr. Reichelt has been employed in the field of family and consumer sciences education for over 25 years, including experiences as a middle school teacher, Cooperative Extension Agent and university educator. Her university experiences include program development in two international settings. She was the founding faculty member of a Family Sciences program in the Middle Eastern country of the United Arab Emirates and completed a Fulbright Scholar experience at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. Originally a Wisconsin native, Reichelt joined the Winthrop faculty in fall 2010. She and her husband Blane currently live in Fort Mill, SC along with their Golden Retriever. She has one daughter who lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
