Human Development and Family Studies Receives Recognition
Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) is now the first S.C. program to be recognized by National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) for which future program completers can receive the national Certified family life educator (CFLE) credential! Congratulations to Dr. Helyne Frederick for her phenomenal efforts in writing and submitting a self-study for the newly approved Human Development and Family Studies degree program to the National Council on Family Relations. Special thanks to Dr. Lisa Moyer for her course revisions and to all partner faculty that assisted in syllabi revisions/suggestions as needed. The program has been approved with official notification forthcoming. In the meantime, CONGRATULATIONS for this tremendous recognition! Way to go HDFS!
