Welcome to the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Educational Studies. Our department prepares students to meet the needs of students, families, and clients in our ever-changing society through programs for initial certification and advanced study. The Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Educational Studies has over 450 students enrolled in its graduate and undergraduate degree programs. The department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Middle Level Education, Special Education, and Family Consumer Science; provides leadership to the Social Studies Teacher Certification Program; and offers The Master of Arts in Teaching Degree. MED Programs in Counseling, Educational Leadership, Special Education, and Middle Level Education offer students opportunities for advanced study in a variety of disciplines.
