Dr. Laura Ullrich, Professor of Economics, Named a Fulbright Scholar for Spring 2014

Dr. Laura Ullrich, professor of economics in the College of Business Administration, has been named as a Fulbright Scholar for spring semester, 2014. Dr. Ullrich will be working at the approximately 40,000 student University of Pristina in Kosovo. She will be a member of an Economics Department of more than 60 faculty.

The highly competitive Fulbright Program was established in 1946. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Currently, the Fulbright Program operates in over 155 countries worldwide. The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to “increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.”
