The Minor
The minor in human resource management provides a basic core of management courses with emphasis on the management of employees. Courses include organization behavior, collective bargaining, compensation and benefits analysis. These courses allow students to gain an overview of managerial functions and an expertise in human resource management.
Required Coursework:
18 semester hours of management courses to include: MGMT 321, 325, 422, 523, 524, and 526. Note that PSYC 101 is a prerequisite for MGMT 325 and MGMT 321 is a prerequisite for all the other courses. All courses in this minor must be taken after the student achieves junior status.
