Bowden joined Winthrop University in August 2011, serving as director of external relations. In addition to her marketing role for the CBA and the M.B.A. program, she also will serve as assistant professor of business administration.
Bowden began her career in 1997 as a marketing assistant for a real estate investment company in Charlotte, N.C., and held the position of executive director of marketing when she left in 2010.
She is a current employee with Winthrop as well as an alumna of the College of Business Administration. Bowden earned two degrees at Winthrop: a B.S. in Business Administration in 1998 and an M.B.A. in 2008.
Bowden resides in Rock Hill with her husband Bernie, and three children, Bella, Sophie and Quin. She enjoys the art of cooking and values fashion art and history. She also enjoys spending time with her family as well as outdoors at her home gardening.
