About the Department

The Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics provides challenging coursework and exciting opportunities to students in the College of Business Administration.  Students in Accounting, Finance, and Economics classes have opportunities to work on case studies, participate in internships, and travel to exciting destinations to enhance their study.  Each May students and faculty travel to New York for the Financial Markets Seminar trip, and international trips to China and Europe are also popular options for students.

The Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics offers the following programs:

This department is comprised of 16 full-time instructional faculty members. Thirteen faculty members hold doctoral degrees and nine faculty members hold professional certifications in their areas of expertise.  The faculty teach in the following areas:
