Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI)

Effective spring semester 2012, all students pursuing a BA degree in French or Spanish with certification to teach in grades K-12 will be required to score at a level of "Advanced-Low" on the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview in order to receive their degree.  Please note that students planning on applying for the MAT5 program or the traditional MAT program in Spanish or French at Winthrop will also be required to score at a level of "Advanced-Low" to be considered for admission to those graduate programs.

Effective fall semester 2012, all students pursuing a BA degree in French or Spanish will be required to score at a level of "Intermediate-High" on the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview in order to receive their degree.
