CSWRA is currently engaged in a wide range of projects with SCDHHS, including quality assurance/evaluation studies, program planning projects, and research to drive policy and program implementation at a state level.
South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS)
CSWRA currently provides a broad range of training and technical assistance to SCDSS designed to implement evidence-based best practices in SCDSS programs and improve efficiencies.
Child Welfare Scholars Program
South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) has formed a partnership with Winthrop University to recruit, educate, and prepare BSW and MSW students for public child welfare practice. This highly competitive program prepares scholars for certification as child welfare workers in South Carolina.
The City of Rock Hill - Neighborhood Development
CSWRA has previously been engaged with The City of Rock Hill’s Weed and Seed Initiative, providing annual program evaluation from the perspective of both police and neighborhood residents.
On behalf of the Vision Charlotte Initiative Partnership Committee, the CSWRA provided program evaluations services examining the Vision Charlotte Initiative. This information was used to guide the work of Vision Charlotte.
