Advanced Standing Program
Field Instruction
Students in the Advanced Standing MSW Program are required to complete a field internship 24 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters of study (no field internship is required during the initial Maymester summer session).
Field internships are located within a 75 mile radius of the University. Requests for exceptions to this policy must be made in writing (with rationale for the request) to the Director of Field Education for consideration by the Field Committee.
