Field Placements in a Student’s Place of Employment

Placements in a student’s employing agency may be considered only when the following criteria are met:

1. The field internship responsibilities must be different from the student’s regular job role (i.e., students cannot earn field credit simply by performing their regular job duties)
2. The internship duties must meet the academic requirements for field
3. The internship supervisor (MSW degree required) must be someone other than the student’s regular work supervisor
