Scholarships & Awards
Applications are available in March for the following academic year; they should be submitted to the Student Services Office, 106 Kinard Hall by the date posted on the College of Arts and Sciences Scholarship Web site. Human Nutrition undergraduate students may apply for the following scholarships:
Georgia I. Lefvendahl Scholarship
Applicant must be a College of Arts and Sciences major with financial need and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Ina Rufus Stutts Scholarship
Applicant must be a Human Nutrition major and a resident of Cleveland or Scotland County, NC or Dillon County, SC; must be a high achieving student based on scholastic record.
Kate Wofford Scholarship
Applicant must be a College of Arts and Sciences major; the scholarship may be divided and is known as the “scholar’s scholarship.”
Landrum-Layton Scholarship
Applicant must be a Human Nutrition major with financial need.
Marcelle Scogin Scholarship
Applicant can be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in Human Nutrition and Dietetics programs.
Robert M. Ward Scholarship
Applicant must be a College of Arts and Sciences major.
South Carolina Food Service Supervisors Association Scholarship
Applicant must be a Human Nutrition major residing in SC and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
