The History Department is pleased to announce that the Louise Pettus Archives & Special Collections is hosting an exhibition entitled "A Stitch in Time: Winthrop Uniforms 1895-1910" which will run until January 2014. This exhibition features the work of Alison Boulton, a graduate student within the department, who helped to recreate the historic uniforms for the exhibit. Congratulations to history interns Brierly Wills, Andrew Harris, Sarah McDonald, and BeAnna Wilburn, whose work in Louise Pettus Archives is featured in the September issue of YC Magazine. Working with Dr. Eddie Lee, these students uncovered two important historical photograph collections. One details social life in 19th-century South Carolina, while the other documents Winthrop’s evolution from 1962 to 2008.
