Ms. Cabrera is a former
Winthrop graduate student, with a Masters in Biological Sciences. Shortly after
graduation, she joined a research team at the University of South
Carolina-School of Medicine to work on autoimmune disease pathology using murine
models. Her teaching philosophy is to provide mentorship and guidance towards a
successful & fulfilling learning environment for students; while attempting
to instill a passion for learning. Courses taught at Winthrop &
ECPI-University include: Human Anatomy & Physiology, Principles of Biology,
Pathophysiology, Environmental Biology & Medical Terminology. In her spare
time, Ms. Cabrera continues to teach in a different capacity: as a certified
fitness instructor in various exercise formats.
