Professor Savage serves as adjunct faculty of French in the Department of World Languages and Cultures. He has taught French at the secondary level in the public schools of Ohio and served as assistant professor of Foreign Language Education at Kent State University. He has also supervised Student Teachers in French, Spanish, German, and Italian and served as assistant d'Anglais at Lycée Paul Valéry in Paris, France and English Instructor at an HEC in France.
Professor Savage taught French to students in the Kent State Geneva Semester Program and was producer/director/host for Salut/Bonjour French Language Series at The Ohio State University. He was presented with the OEB Award for outstanding contributions to Educational Broadcasting in the State of Ohio.
He has presented at the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages and The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
