Mr. Edwards is a project coordinator for the Center for Social Welfare Research and Assessment in the Department of Social Work. In this position he utilizes evidenced based approaches for program evaluation and assessment to study state supported social welfare programs. He received his Masters degree in Social Work from Winthrop University where he focused his education and research on empowering individuals who are homeless. Edwards has six years of related macro social work experience while honorably serving in the U.S. Navy completing international and domestic aid for poverty stricken communities.
