Dr. Haubert is an associate professor of sociology at Winthrop. She received her doctorate in sociology from Tulane University prior to joining the faculty at Winthrop. She teaches the following courses for the department on a rotating basis: "Population Studies," "Social Inequality," "Racial and Ethnic Relations," "Research Methods," "Senior Seminar," and "Principles of Sociology." Her research interests focus on social stratification and inequality particularly as it relates to racial and ethnic minorities. Much of her work focuses on immigrants, both documented and undocumented, and the reception they receive in the U.S. as well as their adaptation processes.
Haubert has written several book chapters and published in refereed journals such as International Migration Review and Organization and Environment.
