Dr. Williams is an associate professor of history at Winthrop and specializes in the history of U.S.-Latin American relations. Her current work focuses on 20th-century social movements in the United States and Latin America. She currently serves as the president of the Peace History Society, and she directs the Peace, Justice, and Conflict Resolution Studies Program at Winthrop.
