Dr. Frost is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Biology at Winthrop. She received her doctorate in "Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Proteins in Cancer and their Modification by Proteolytic Activity" from the Department of Chemical Endocrinology, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. During her research at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, Frost presented work at several international scientific conventions and published a number of papers in scientific journals, including Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Growth Regulation, Journal of Endocrinology, Hormone Research, and Clinical Endocrinology. She also teamed up with other research groups in the field, including those in London, Adelaide, Australia, Bergen, Norway, and Chapel Hill, N.C.
Frost moved to the U.S. with her family in 2000 and now teaches courses in microbiology (lecture and laboratory) in the Department of Biology at Winthrop. She is active in her local community as a Girl Scout leader and is on the School Improvement Council for the Fort Mill School District.
