Dr. Bush completed her undergraduate degree in math education in 1993 and began teaching courses at Clemson University while working on a master’s degree. Shortly after receiving a Ph.D. in biostatistics, Bush began working as a biostatistician for Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., in 1999. She joined Winthrop’s Department of Mathematics from fall 2000-2001. After being a stay-at-home mom for nearly nine years, Bush has joined Winthrop’s Department of Mathematics once again.
Bush and her husband are both natives of South Carolina. They live in York County with their two children. Bush’s hobbies are playing badminton and frisbee with her family.
