Professor Rodriguez is an adjunct instructor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, where she teaches Spanish and sometimes German. A native of Germany, she came to the United States at the age of 8. She received an M.A. in both Spanish and English from Winthrop. Her research focus is Germany during World War II, and she has just completed a book on the subject. Her interests include writing songs and poetry and writing Spanish greeting cards for Hallmark Cards, Inc.
Rodriguez has traveled throughout Europe, Mexico, and the United States. She has two children and is the director of a non-profit animal shelter located in Rock Hill.
