Dr. Grossoehme is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, Physics and Geology at Winthrop. He earned his Ph.D. in chemistry at Dartmouth College, then spent three years of post-doctoral research at Indiana University prior to joining the Winthrop faculty. His research interests focus on identification and biophysical characterization of bacterial metal regulatory mechanisms. Grossoehme has authored three book chapters and is published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.
