Assessment Tools Choosing a major or deciding on a career can be a challenge.  Career Development offers programs and services to help you explore the possibilities.  We offer career counseling and assessment instruments to students, alumni, and the general public.  The assessment instruments used are the Strong Interest Inventory, which surveys interests and links them to specific careers, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a personality assessment tool helpful in identifying personality preferences and matching them with careers.  Students can take the MBTI and Strong Inventories here (login as "CAREERS2185" and use password "PERSONAL") and should contact Career Services to set up an appointment to have their results interpreted by a consultant.   Fees:  Strong MBTI Student/Alumni $12.50 $12.50 Non-Student $25.00 $25.00 Note: These inventories are NOT designed to tell a person what occupation to choose, but to give him or her some additional information that can be useful in making good career decisions.
