Four core facility
scientists help to support the work of six principal investigators from the

Students participate in an
8-week independent summer research project with a faculty mentor and
are selected on a competitive basis. Students receive training in
lab safety, bioinformatics, tissue culture techniques, and various
molecular biology techniques.
