Resource Center for Adult Students
Welcome to Winthrop University! Every student's path to Winthrop is unique, and we're glad you found your way to our campus.
New Transfer and Non-Traditional Students
The Resource Center for Adult Students is thrilled to welcome all of our new and incoming transfer and non-traditional students who will be joining us for the Fall 2013 semester. We look forward to meeting you at Orientation sessions, and hope you will participate in the great events we have planned for you before classes start in August. Be sure to check out all the details you need to know about the start of the semester or download our "Transfer and Non-Traditional Student Experience brochure (pdf - 518 KB)"! You'll receive a hard copy of this information when you arrive on campus for an Orientation Session.
The Resource Center for Adult Students will host a "Transition to Winthrop" workshop series on Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16, 2013. These sessions are optional, and will provide you with great information about how to make the most of your Winthrop experience. The sessions are tailored to meet your needs as a transfer and/or non-traditional student. We ask that all students planning on attending register in advance. A full schedule, workshop descriptions, and registration form can be found on our "Transition to Winthrop" workshop page.
Care Package Drive
The Resource Center for Adult Students is partnering with the Student Veterans of Winthrop to collect donations to send to our deployed student servicemen and women. Donations of snacks, entertainment items, and toiletries, are being collected every Tuesday and Thursday during Common Time at DiGs, or can be dropped off to 108 Dinkins. Please contact the Resource Center for Adult Students with any questions.
