  I have taken courses at another college. How do I receive credit at Winthrop?

  You must inform the Office of Admissions of any course for which you will receive college credit. You should request that the college or university send an official transcript to the Office of Admissions. We cannot accept college credit that is printed on high school transcripts.

The office of student services in your academic area will evaluate transfer credit. To be considered for transfer credit, your final grade must be a "C-" or higher. Courses that are completed at an institution that is accredited by the commission on colleges of a regional accrediting agency are automatically evaluated for transfer credit upon receipt of the official transcript.
