  How can I apply for Winthrop academic scholarships? 

  Winthrop does not require a separate scholarship application. We use the credentials submitted with your application for admission.

Typically, freshman applicants who score at least 1100 on the SAT or 24 on the ACT (excluding writing scores) and earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 will be considered for scholarships. Priority consideration will be given to students whose applications are complete by March 1. Students whose application becomes complete after March 1 will be considered for scholarships if funds are still available.
