Decision Notification Schedule

We will be notified by e-mail or mail when your application has been received. Updated information on the status of your application can be viewed at www.winthrop.edu/mystatus.

Fall 2011 Admissions 

Decision letters will be mailed every Friday until August 12, 2011. Students whose applications are not complete by August 12 should check their status online at www.winthrop.edu/mystatus. Late applications will be accepted until August 17. Fall classes will begin on August 23.

Spring 2012 Admission 

The application deadline for spring admission is December 15, 2011. Decision letters for spring applicants will be mailed two weeks after the application is complete beginning in September.

Note: The Office of Admissions will be closed beginning on December 23, 2011 and will reopen on January 2, 2012.

Summer 2012 Admission
The application deadline for summer admission is the weekday before the first day of class for the summer session. Decision letters for summer applicants will be mailed using the schedule for fall admission below.

Fall 2012 Admission 

Fall decision letters will be mailed beginning on the 20th of each month beginning in October for all students whose application becomes complete by the 1st of the month. Please use our online portal to check on your admissions status.
