Hello! My name is Rob Dellibovi, and I am an admissions counselor here at Winthrop. I am originally from Westfield, Massachusetts, where I attended high school, and went to college at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where I majored in Business Marketing and minored in Economics. While at UMass, I took part in multiple marketing and advertising organizations, but primarily spent my time in the Admissions office as Head Ambassador when not in class. I graduated in 2007 with my Bachelors of Science and have been working in college admissions ever since.
I joined the Admissions Team at Winthrop University in the summer of 2010. I came here because I know the value of a public education, and the campus environment and friendly people made me feel right at home. It is rare to find a school the size of Winthrop that has such small classrooms and close interactions with faculty; here you will definitely feel like an individual rather than just a number. The variety of majors and number of clubs and organizations proves that at Winthrop there is something for everybody.
Choosing the right college can be a tough decision, and with pressure starting earlier and earlier in student’s lives, it is important to have Admissions Counselors that understand a student’s needs. There are many factors to take into consideration when choosing a college, but my advice is to make yourself available to as many options as possible. Sure enough you will step on a campus and instantly feel like it is a good fit.
I am here to help decide if Winthrop University is right for you, so feel free to call (800-WINTHROP) or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you need anything!
