Transfer Students

If you have attended post-secondary institutions (college or university), either in the USA or in your home country, you may be eligible to transfer some or all of your courses to Winthrop University.   Courses can be transferred if you have received a grade of “C” or higher, or equivalent grades within your grading system, and if it is a course which is offered at Winthrop University.

In order to receive credit at Winthrop you must submit to Winthrop (either with your application or later) syllabi, course outlines, or other information which describes in detail the content of the courses you wish to transfer.  If the information you are providing is not in English, please provide an English translation of the material.

Please direct any questions to international@winthrop.edu .

Once an evaluation has been completed, please request that a copy be mailed to the appropriate academic advising office for your intended major, as listed below. Your academic advisor will award transfer credit based on the evaluation.
