Hi! My name is Josh Bistromowitz. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Art in Theater Performance in May 2004. I enjoy working in the Admissions Office so I can help relieve the overwhelming stress that can occur when trying to find that “perfect” school.

I chose Winthrop for many reasons. The size of the student body, for instance, is small enough to allow an excellent relationship with your professors and yet large enough to provide plenty of opportunities. Winthrop’s 100% accreditation is also impressive. It allowed me to receive a top-of-the line education in both theater, my major, and my minor, business. This accreditation assured that I received the knowledge I needed in the “real world” and the confidence to face it.

While at Winthrop, I was a Winthrop Ambassador, a member of Alpha Psi Omega, a theater honor society, and much more. With over 140 organizations and clubs, it is easy to become involved and make life long friends.

The most important factor in choosing a university or college is ensuring that it will fit your needs academically and socially. So, ask questions, take tours, really look for the school that fits who you are.

Feel free to stop in and take a tour of Winthrop University and allow us to dazzle you with our beautiful campus and friendly atmosphere. If you have any questions please email me at bistroj@winthrop.edu or call at (800)-WINTHROP.
