The Division of Access and Enrollment Management at Winthrop recruits and retains traditional, post-traditional, and graduate students to the university. The offices of Admissions and Financial Aid comprise the division which was formed in 2014. Divisional leader is Eduardo Prieto, vice president for access and enrollment management.
An Oklahoma native, Prieto, who has worked in enrollment management for 21 years at four different institutions, has experience working in recruitment, competitive admission efforts, budget management, team-building, territory management, and financial aid at public and private higher education institutions.
He leads the university’s enrollment functions and also works collaboratively with colleagues across the university to set an overall enrollment management strategy. The division works to ensure access so that students from all walks of life will receive the advantages of a high-quality, affordable education.
“I am honored and excited to join the Winthrop community. It is an exciting time to work and collaborate with so many dedicated and passionate individuals committed to fulfilling Winthrop’s mission of access and excellence.”
